Revel Scottsdale is an Independent Living community that maintains close ties to health professionals so residents can continue to age in place with confidence. On-site access to a physician and speech therapist is available by appointment, and the residence is able to admit individuals with psychiatric conditions. While the focus is on independent lifestyles, staff can step in with full assistance for bathing, dressing, eating and toileting whenever these services are needed, ensuring residents do not have to relocate if daily tasks become more challenging.
An RN or LPN is always in the building, with an additional nurse on call around the clock. Background-checked team members provide both awake and asleep night-shift coverage, and every apartment is equipped with a pull-cord alert system. The grounds are fenced at the rear, 24-hour security personnel patrol the site, and an activity director coordinates daily schedules.
Apartments may include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, furnishings, independent temperature controls, the option to paint or decorate, cable service, in-unit laundry and housekeeping, though not every unit has every feature. Scheduled laundry service is available for those without machines. Independent Living residents can also take advantage of weekly housekeeping, laundry service and a flexible monthly meal plan.
Dining offers a set menu at regular mealtimes, an on-order option for greater choice, all-day snacks, in-room service and a reservable private dining room for family visits. Specialized dietary management accommodates gluten-free, vegetarian, mechanical-chop, puréed and thickened-liquid needs.
Residents have access to parking, wheelchair-friendly pathways, a fitness center, wellness clinic, pool, movie theater, beauty salon, library, communal gardens, special-interest clubs and on-site religious services. Internet access is campus-wide, transportation is scheduled for appointments and shopping, a designated smoking area is provided outdoors, and pets are welcome with prior approval—it's a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
