Mimosa Springs offers both Assisted Living and Memory Care, with clinical capabilities designed for residents who wander at any time of day, present elopement risk, display combative or other behavioral issues, or remain awake through the night. The team manages wound care, oxygen, and special diet requirements, and provides diabetes oversight for both oral medications and insulin injections. Advanced dementia conditions are supported, and the community is open to residents under 60 when medically appropriate.
Care delivery is reinforced by an RN or LPN on staff and a nurse on call 24 hours a day. Background-checked caregivers work both awake and asleep night shifts, while 24-hour security, a fenced perimeter, door alarms, wander-guard technology, and a PERS alert system help reduce risk. The community accepts residents with psychiatric diagnoses and supplies full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting. Mobility support ranges from supervision with a walker to one- or two-person transfers, Hoyer lifts, and bed-bound care.
Accommodations include options with private bathrooms, furnished layouts, individual climate controls, and the freedom to repaint or decorate. Cable service, regular housekeeping, and scheduled laundry are provided, though not every room includes every listed feature.
Dining offers a daily set menu alongside made-to-order selections, all-day snacks, and the option for meals served in the room. The kitchen can accommodate gluten-free, vegetarian, mechanical-chop, puréed, thickened-liquid, and other diet modifications as ordered by a physician or dietitian.
Residents have access to on-site parking, designated outdoor smoking areas, full wheelchair accessibility, a barber/beauty shop, an exercise room, internet, communal gardens, a library, special-interest clubs, on-site religious services, ATLCS oversight, and scheduled transportation for appointments and errands.
