The Palazzo offers two levels of care—Assisted Living and Memory Care—with the capability to manage advanced dementia conditions. Residents who wander during the day or night, have a history of elopement, require diabetic monitoring with oral medications, or need special diets can all be accommodated. Medication management, incontinence care, ambulatory support, and hospice coordination are available on site, and a licensed nurse oversees each of these services. Occupational, physical, and massage therapists, as well as a visiting dentist and podiatrist, round out the clinical team, ensuring routine and specialized treatments are handled without leaving the community.
Around-the-clock support is standard. Registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified caregivers remain on duty 24 hours a day, with a separate awake night shift alongside staff assigned to lighter overnight coverage. Pull cords and personal emergency response systems link directly to staff, and the campus has full security staffing at all times. Background checks are completed on every employee. Full-assistance help is offered with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and transfer assistance ranges from simple standby to two-person or Hoyer-lift transfers for bed-bound residents. An activity director schedules daily programs designed for both cognitive engagement and physical mobility.
Apartments vary, and not every unit includes every feature, but choices may include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, independent temperature controls, cable service, and options to paint or decorate. Wide doorways and step-free access make both studio and one-bedroom layouts wheelchair-friendly. Housekeeping and linen service are available, and maintenance handles routine repairs to minimize disruptions to daily life.
Dining follows an on-order model, giving residents the flexibility to choose meals at the time of service rather than committing to set menus in advance. The culinary team coordinates closely with clinical staff to provide heart-healthy, low-sodium, diabetic, and other physician-prescribed meal plans. Independent-living residents can elect a monthly meal plan, receive medication-management monitoring, and schedule housekeeping visits without moving to a higher care level, allowing them to remain self-sufficient while still benefiting from professional oversight.
Residents have access to reserved parking, and the campus is wheelchair-accessible throughout. An on-site barber and beauty shop, exercise room, movie theater, and internet access help support routine and leisure needs. Scheduled transportation is provided, and the building is also close to public bus routes for those who prefer independent travel. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed. Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas, and regular religious services are held on site for those who wish to attend.
