The Manor Village at Desert Ridge provides three levels of care—Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care—allowing residents to remain in the same community as their needs change. Oxygen support is available, and the team is experienced in managing moderate dementia conditions.
Around-the-clock medical oversight includes a nurse on call 24 hours a day, awake night staff, and an activity director who adapts programming to varying care levels. Security measures feature staffed coverage at all hours, background-checked employees, pull-cord and personal emergency response systems that can alert staff or connect directly to 911, and on-site podiatry as well as a therapy room. Staff provide some physical assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and they are trained to handle walkers, wheelchairs, standby support, and one-person transfers.
Apartments may include a private bathroom, kitchenette, independent thermostats, cable service, in-unit laundry, and the ability to paint or decorate; housekeeping and scheduled laundry services are also available. Not every unit includes every feature, so prospective residents should confirm details during a visit. Residents in the Independent Living program can opt for weekly housekeeping and a monthly meal plan.
Dining offers made-to-order meals, all-day snacks, and accommodations for mechanical soft, chopped, puréed, or thickened-liquid diets, plus vegetarian selections. Meals are planned to align with personal nutrition requirements while giving residents flexibility in timing and portion size.
Amenities include resident parking, outdoor smoking areas, wheelchair-accessible common spaces, a barber and beauty shop, exercise room, movie room, wellness center, internet access, communal gardens, on-site religious services, concierge desk, library, pool, special-interest clubs, and scheduled transportation for errands or appointments. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
