The Chateaux is a residential care home that centers its services on hands-on medical and behavioral support. Care teams manage residents who wander at any hour, are at risk for elopement, or exhibit combative or other behavioral concerns. Staff members are trained to handle advanced dementia as well as psychiatric diagnoses. Full wound care, oxygen management, and specialized diet oversight are available, and diabetic residents can be managed on oral medications, injections, or sliding-scale protocols. A registered nurse or licensed practical nurse is on staff, a nurse is on call around the clock, and podiatry visits are provided on-site. Residents under 60 are accepted when appropriate.
Additional safeguards include 24-hour awake and asleep night staff, background-checked employees, fenced grounds, door alarms, and a PERS system that alerts personnel instantly. The community supplies full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Transfers are supported at every level—from simple standby to two-person or Hoyer-lift moves—and bed-bound residents can be accommodated. Security is maintained by staff presence at all times.
Accommodations range from basic furnished rooms to units with private bathrooms, individual climate control, cable, and the option to personalize paint or décor; not every room includes every feature, so families should confirm availability. Housekeeping and scheduled laundry are provided.
Dining offers both a rotating set menu and on-order selections, with snacks available throughout the day. Residents may eat in the main dining area, in a private dining room, or in their own rooms if preferred. The kitchen supports physician-ordered diets, including gluten-free, mechanical-chop, puréed, thickened-liquid, vegetarian, and other modifications.
Residents have access to on-site religious services, internet, communal gardens, wheelchair-accessible grounds, and designated outdoor smoking areas. Parking is provided for those who keep a vehicle, and transportation services can be arranged for medical appointments and personal errands.
