Red Mountain Reflections is a residential care home that is equipped to manage a wide range of medical conditions and behaviors. The team supports residents who wander during the day or night, have a history of elopement, display combative or other behavioral issues, stay awake overnight, require wound care, need oxygen therapy, follow special diets, or are under 60 years old. Diabetes management is available for residents on oral medications, injections, or sliding-scale insulin, and the community is prepared to care for individuals living with advanced dementia. Psychiatric conditions are accepted, so long as they can be safely managed within this setting.
Nursing oversight is built into daily operations, with an RN or LPN on staff and a nurse on call 24 hours a day. Direct-care staff perform full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting. Transfers are handled according to each resident’s abilities, whether that involves a walker, wheelchair, standby help, one-person or two-person lifts, a full Hoyer lift, or bed-bound care. Safety measures include awake and asleep night shifts, continuous on-site staffing, fenced outdoor areas, door alarms, and a PERS system that alerts caregivers if a resident calls for help. All employees undergo background checks.
Accommodations are offered in furnished rooms, some with private bathrooms, independent temperature controls, and cable service. Residents may decorate or repaint their rooms if they wish. Housekeeping and scheduled laundry services are included. Because room layouts vary, not every accommodation includes every feature listed.
Meals follow a set menu with the option to order alternatives. Snacks are available throughout the day, and in-room dining can be arranged when needed. The kitchen prepares modified diets such as gluten-free, mechanical-chopped, puréed, thickened-liquid, vegetarian, or other physician-ordered plans. Staff members monitor compliance with diet restrictions as part of each resident’s care plan.
Residents have access to off-street parking, outdoor smoking areas, wheelchair-accessible common spaces, internet service, and communal gardens. On-site religious services are scheduled regularly, and transportation can be arranged for medical appointments, errands, or social outings.
