Eastmark Christ Centered Care operates as a residential care home designed to manage a wide range of medical needs. The team is prepared to support residents who wander at any time of day, have elopement risks, exhibit combative or other behavioral issues, remain awake through the night, require wound management, need oxygen therapy, follow special or diabetic diets, and those living with advanced dementia. Care staff can manage residents under 60 as well as those with diabetes on oral medications, injections, or sliding-scale regimens.
Clinical oversight is provided by an RN or LPN, with a nurse on-site and another on call 24 hours a day. All employees undergo background checks, and the building is staffed and secured around the clock with door alarms and personal emergency response systems. The home accepts residents with psychiatric diagnoses and offers full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting. Mobility needs are met with standby supervision, one-person or two-person transfers, walker or wheelchair help, full Hoyer lift transfers, and support for those who are bed-bound.
Private and semi-private accommodations are available; some rooms come furnished while others may be personalized with a resident’s own belongings, including the option to paint or decorate. Cable service is offered in select rooms, but not every accommodation includes every feature.
Dining follows a set menu with the option to order alternate meals. Snacks are available throughout the day, and staff can adjust textures or ingredients to meet physician-ordered or preference-based diet modifications.
Residents have access to off-street parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, internet connectivity, communal gardens, on-site religious services, scheduled transportation, and an outdoor smoking area. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
