La Sonora at Dove Mountain offers three levels of residential care. Independent living residents can manage their own routines while having access to on-site services as needed. Assisted living adds help with activities of daily living, and the dedicated memory care program is structured for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.
Additional clinical resources strengthen day-to-day support. Respite and short-term stays are available, and specialized diabetes care protocols are in place. Physicians and speech therapists visit the community, and the building operates as a secured community to reduce wandering risk. On-site services include spaces and staff designed specifically for memory loss, incontinence and ambulatory care oversight, optometry, massage therapy, dentistry, hospice coordination, medication management, nursing, and occupational, physical, and podiatric therapies.
Residences come in multiple layouts and may feature balconies, patios, terraces, or decks. Select units are pet friendly and can include kitchenettes, wheelchair-accessible showers, cable or satellite television, and high-speed internet. Central air conditioning, handicap-accessible common areas, outdoor spaces, and on-site parking round out the practical details, although not every accommodation contains every feature.
Dining is handled by a professional chef who prepares three daily meals with an all-day dining option for flexible scheduling. Menus can accommodate vegetarian preferences, low- or no-sodium requirements, and no-sugar diets. Guests may join residents for meals, and service is offered in a restaurant-style setting.
Residents have access to an activity center, library and computer lounge, swimming pool, and organized clubs and communities. Programming includes yoga and chair yoga, fitness classes, reminiscence groups, intergenerational events, karaoke, happy hour, dances, live music, birthday celebrations, and off-site social outings.
