The Garnet of Casa Grande offers both Assisted Living and Independent Living, giving residents the choice between day-to-day support and a more self-directed lifestyle. Clinical staff are equipped to care for residents who wander during the day or night, manage elopement risks, or exhibit combative or other challenging behaviors, including advanced dementia conditions. The team also works with individuals who require wound care, oxygen therapy, special diets, and diabetes management—whether through oral medications, injections, or sliding-scale insulin. Residents under 60 years old who need these services are also accepted, allowing the community to meet a broad range of medical and behavioral needs within a single setting.
Around-the-clock clinical coverage includes an RN or LPN on staff, a nurse on site 24 hours a day, and an additional nurse on call when needed. Background-checked caregivers remain awake through the night, and the building is secured by door alarms, fenced outdoor areas, and pull-cord alert systems. On-site services span incontinence and ambulatory care, hospice coordination, medication management, and scheduled visits from occupational therapists, physical therapists, and a podiatrist. Staff provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting and can accommodate mobility at every level—from simple walker and wheelchair support to two-person transfers, Hoyer lift transfers, and bed-bound care.
Residences are designed for practical comfort and safety. Floor plans may include kitchenettes, wheelchair-accessible showers, cable or satellite TV, Wi-Fi, individual climate control, and either a balcony, patio, or deck, but not every apartment contains every feature. Common interior and exterior spaces add pet-friendly areas, outdoor seating, and handicap-accessible paths so residents can move freely throughout the property.
Dining is handled by a professional chef who prepares three daily meals along with an all-day dining menu. Options include vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, no-sugar-added, and low-sodium dishes. Guest meals are available for visiting family and friends, and meals can be tailored to align with physician-ordered special diets, including diabetic considerations.
Additional amenities include resident parking, outdoor smoking areas, wheelchair accessibility throughout the campus, an on-site barber and beauty shop, exercise room, internet access points, communal gardens, a library, special-interest clubs, and regularly scheduled religious services. Pets are allowed. It’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
