Vision Assisted Living Apache Junction offers both Assisted Living and Memory Care, serving residents who need routine support as well as those living with any stage of dementia, including advanced conditions. The community accepts individuals who wander during the day or night, are at risk for elopement, or present combative or other behavioral challenges. Residents managing oxygen therapy, complex wound care, diabetes (oral meds, injections, or sliding scale), special diets, or who are under age 60 are also eligible for admission.
A nurse is on call around the clock, and an awake night staff monitors the building under 24-hour security, with background-checked employees. Pull-cord alert systems and a fenced rear yard add additional safeguards. On-site medical services include regular podiatry visits, and caregivers can provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Transfer help ranges from supervision with a walker to two-person or Hoyer lift transfers for bed-bound residents.
Resident rooms may include a private bathroom, basic furnishings, independent temperature control, cable access, and the option to paint or decorate; however, not every accommodation has every listed feature.
Meals are available as set menus or made to order, with snacks provided throughout the day and staff oversight for diet modifications and management.
Amenities and services include resident parking, outside smoking areas, wheelchair-accessible common spaces, a barber/beauty shop, internet access, communal gardens, on-site religious services, and scheduled transportation for appointments or errands. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
