Galleria Woods offers both Assisted Living and Independent Living, with medical oversight designed to address a broad range of health needs. The community is prepared to care for residents who wander during the day or night, are at risk of elopement, stay up throughout the night, require wound care, use oxygen, follow special diets, or manage diabetes with oral medications, injections, or sliding-scale insulin. Staff are trained to support advanced dementia, ensuring care plans remain flexible if cognitive abilities decline. On-site therapy space is available, and the community accepts residents with certain psychiatric conditions, coordinating services as needed.
Round-the-clock licensed nurses are on site, backed by additional nursing support on call 24 hours a day. The campus uses multiple safety measures—fenced grounds front and back, door alarms, Wander Guard technology, and personal emergency response systems with pull cords—to reduce risk and speed response times. Full-assistance help is available for bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and transfer support ranges from standby assistance and one- or two-person transfers to Hoyer lift and bed-bound care. Residents who walk with a cane or walker or use a wheelchair find staff trained for each mobility level.
Apartments come with options such as private bathrooms, kitchenettes, furnished setups, independent temperature controls, cable access, and the ability to paint or decorate. Some units add in-room laundry, while others rely on scheduled laundry service; not every apartment contains every feature. Weekly housekeeping is included, and Independent Living residents also receive medication-management monitoring, housekeeping, laundry, and a monthly meal plan as part of their package.
Dining focuses on flexibility and clinical oversight. Residents can choose the daily set menu, order meals on request, enjoy snacks throughout the day, or dine privately in their room or a reservable dining space. Diet modifications accommodate physician-ordered restrictions ranging from carbohydrate-controlled menus for diabetes to texture adjustments after swallowing evaluations.
