Summer Village Senior Living offers three levels of residence—Independent Living, Assisted Living, and a dedicated Memory Care program—so that residents can shift to a higher or lower level of daily support without leaving the campus. Independent Living residents retain control over their schedules while having household chores managed; Assisted Living residents receive help with activities like bathing, dressing, and medication reminders; and Memory Care residents benefit from a structured environment focused on cognitive support and predictable routines.
The community maintains 24-hour staffing within a secured setting and extends a range of on-site clinical services. Licensed nurses coordinate medication management and incontinence care, while occupational, physical, and speech therapists hold regular sessions in dedicated treatment areas. Diabetes management plans and ambulatory care are available, and families can arrange respite or short-term stays when needed. Memory Care areas are secured and operate with staff who are trained exclusively for dementia support.
Residences vary in layout and feature sets, but options may include kitchenettes, private balconies or patios, cable or satellite television, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and access to outdoor decks overlooking landscaped grounds. Common spaces such as a central fireplace lounge, piano area, and multiple parking areas round out the physical environment. The community is pet-friendly; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed, and not every apartment includes every listed feature.
Meals are prepared by a professional chef, and residents can choose all-day dining or set meal times in the main dining room. Menus accommodate gluten-free, low-sodium, no-sugar, and other physician-directed diets without advance notice. Guests may purchase meals, and snacks are available throughout the day so residents do not have to wait for scheduled dining periods.
Daily life is supplemented with a library and computer lounge, indoor walking paths, fitness and yoga classes, an activity center for clubs, and scheduled live-music performances. Residents attend happy hours, dances, birthday celebrations, and intergenerational events, while social outings make use of community transportation for shopping or local attractions. During warm months, the outdoor swimming pool is open for laps or water-aerobics, and staff organize supervised trips to outdoor areas so residents can enjoy fresh air within safety guidelines.
